A structure is given, foundations are set. A space implies dimensions, depth and certain characteristics that are understood and perceived by those inhabiting the space, visiting it, or just merely observing it from afar.

Unseen and overlooked, the spider builds her cobweb slowly and elegantly with utmost care. Slowly and elegantly, she dedicates her attention to weaving her silky system. Slowly and elegantly, she enters the vertical plane, explores the depth of field. Slowly and elegantly, she intrudes, transforms and presents, bringing forth a new reality, an alternate interpretation of life.

The tensile strength and fine geometry of cobweb is just as much a temporal phenomenon as a spatial one. The web invites its environment to react, to answer, to cry or laugh about it. The web in turn, may be destroyed, may be left untouched, may join other orb weaver’s creations to form communal spiderwebs, or may as well capture prey. Cobweb enters life, only to leave a mark.

One very important thought: in some cases, mark is left even if the web is completely unnoticed.
